What is Pass Plus? As a learner driver you are not allowed onto motorways. Motorway driving can be daunting for the first time, everything moves faster, there are more vehicles, more lanes to cope with and motorway regulations and signs are encountered for the first time in a real life situation. Once you have passed your practical test you should consider doing Pass Plus which is a short course to further your driving skills and experience including motorway and night-time driving. Many insurance companies give worthwhile discounts to Pass Plus pupils. There are 6 modules to the course consisting of a minimum of 6 hours tuition, and no test to take! Your driving instructor will assess your competence after each module and at the end of the course complete a form to send off to the DSA who will in turn send you a Pass Plus certificate. You quote your certificate number to your insurance company when getting them to give you a quote for insurance - worthwhile discounts are given that often exceed the cost of the Pass Plus course. | ||

My Academy can organise a very successful Pass Plus sesson for you, you will have a short introduction on the benefits of Pass Plus, how it works, what you get out of it and where we are going.
Firstly you will be informed were we are going, you will then be expected to plot your route on a map and follow the main routes to your destination.
The main route I use is as follows:
Follow the A120 to Stansted
Along the M11 towards London
Anti clockwise around the M25
Stop along the A10 for a coffee and discussion about the motorway driving.
Continue towards London, around Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus along the South Embankment and over Tower Bridge.
Stop again for lunch (complimentary)
Return home via the Motorway
Cost for the training is £175 in your car, £200 in my BMW on the home page.
